NTT Global Data Centers·Operating
NTT Global Data Centers operates a campus of data centers in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The company says it runs six data centers in the town in total. Hemel Hempstead 2 has 2,275 square meters of IT space and 5.8 megawatts of power. Hemel Hempstead 3 offers 8,960 square meters of IT space with up to 20 megawatts of power.
NTT opened its newest building, Hemel Hempstead 4, in December 2021 as its seventh London-area data center site, with the first phase delivering half of its capacity. Fully built out, Hemel Hempstead 4 is designed to reach 9,600 square meters of IT space and 24 megawatts of power. NTT has said the investment could more than double its London-area capacity to over 120 megawatts once Hemel Hempstead 4 and its London 1 site in Dagenham are both fully built.
